New smilies and teacher

So err the other week my sister got told that our new teacher just so happens to be Kerry's dad (kerry's in fran's year). He's a travelling musician apparently, he's done...west side story, err...probably loads of other ones but I can't remember them :P Anyway so my lesson ended up hijacked as a way for us 3 (me, fran and vicki) to practice honk together.
Part of the lesson was spent working on my baritone ombasure (sp LOL clarinetist can't even spell that word...) since I'm not used to it and all that jazz...
anyway for the rest of it we played bits of it which didn't exactly need much help on.
Erm. Anyway he seems nice.
I think vicki said next time she'll let me try bass clarinet since...well thursday she'll be playing all 3, and friday I'll be playing all 3, monday and tuesday it'll be split.
I think she'll be on baritone sax next week, since fran keeps complaining that I hog it.

Butcheah I like the new teacher. he seems...like, he's an amazing player, and he's really loud on them, but at the same time...he seems like a teacher that's got the right balance, awesome at music but nice with kids. probably cause he has a daughter as aforementioned.
Mr. Sinclair, sadly might be retiring which is actually really weird. Fran thinks he might be 50, 60+ but to me he looks...late thirties fourties so when she said "he might be leaving all together" and I asked why "retirement" didn't really spring to mind, ya know what I mean? one of those ageless people who have grey hair but they will never seem old until they're on their death bed.
I sorta forgot to tell fran and vicki that we were having an extra rehearsal at 3 today...eh well. (me elle and nez went). Hopefully hydes will forget he told me to tell them since he'll probably bring it up in jazz band on thursday if he doesn't forget about it. eh well.

I am extremely happy today, for these reasons:
I'm doing well on my y11 ICT coursework so far.

Mrs. Hemming is the most amazing person for getting quick marks in coursework ever - srsly, it's like "write shading there" -writes- "1 more mark. write your margins there. write what fonts and colours you've used. that's another 2 marks." "print this off" "write this is useful to show the varied wages" "1 more mark" so now I'm on 3 19s in my y10 ICT work.

I am going to get a new clarinet this week or next week for 770 pounds.

My guild's going well so far and we've found another owner (just after I blogged last night about not being able to find one :P)

English is starting to look marginally better except for the upcoming mocks..
and also my english teacher apparently said on parents evening "she's really concise and is lucky to understand things and be able to write a ten minute essay and still get a C" - not necessarily a good thing that she's figured out my strategy, but still quite funny :P
