Char

My name is char. I am a 15 year old british girl who likes to web design and photograph, as well as playing the clarinet/sax/piano and maplestory. (maple ign is raindrop on ems if ya'd like to know). I hate hackers/liars/fakers and people who just generally put my back up.

Blending

In this tutorial I will be using the following images from my gallery:

you may use any photos you like, or pictures, from whatever sources, but for the purposes of this tutorial i suggest you use mine.
Paste them both into your image program. resize them to a reasonable width and height, if using mine, select percentage and enter 25. to resize go image >> resize.
Open your first image and add about 200 pixels on the right size (image >> canvas size. in image placement put all of the extra space in the right box)
Copy your second image and press ctrl and l on your first image (this pastes your second on top in the centre of the canvas)
Move your image to the right hand side, but still overlap the first picture.
Select the overlapping edge with the rectangle selection tool and press ctrl and h, enter 40. press delete a few times. If you want to do this around an object or person, use the lassoo tool to go around.
When you are happy, merge all. this is how mine turned out:

I resized mine after blending, and then added 2 effects: the first stage of swimchick advanced picture 17
Colors >> Adjust >> Hue/saturation/lightness: hue: -43, saturation: 95, lightness: 76.
I quite like my end result. I hope you're satisfied that you know how to blend with paint shop pro 7. Please do not reproduce my tutorial
